Made this Potato and Leek soup from the EDC cookbook and it was delicious. So smooth and creamy.
Tweaks: added one clove of garlic, used less stock 550ml, and used salt reduced masel chicken stock with a small TBsp of Stock Paste.

Fruity Dream: Banana and Mixed Berries
Whipped up a fruity dream as in EDC cookbook using a couple of frozen banana's I had and a few mixed berries.
I didnt have many berries left but you can see they take over the colour of the dessert. You could still taste the banana flavour though and was like a gelato texture. A great summer treat!
Tip: When you have ripe banana's peel them and freeze them in some zip lock bags. Makes great fruity dream with gelato like texture.
Chicken and Bacon Risotto
I now make a few adjustments to the risotto recipe in the EDC cookbook. I use 390g of rice and 1000 of water and increase my parmesan to 70g and add a clove of garlic to it. This is a bacon and chicken one. Dont forget to let it rest in your thermoserver for 5 minutes as it will look like a soup when you first pour it in. After 5 minutes the grains will plump up and absorb the lovely liquid.

Spicy Chicken with Sweet Potato and Tomato Rice
Last night I made this dish from a recipe we made at Cathy Mueller's cooking class. Cathy added some spinach to hers and I think you need a bit of colour to help the presentation but I didnt have any spinach left.
The chicken and sweet potato are cooking in the varoma at the top whilst the rice is bubbling away in the basket at the bottom in the tomato mix. Great all in one meal.
The original similiar recipe is here, posted by "I Love Bimby":

I halved the amount of chicken and sweet potato as the full amount is HUGE!
